Nintendo has released hi-res images of its entire first wave of Amiibo figures.
The company confirmed the first twelve NFC figures last week, with less common characters like Marth and the Wii Fit Trainer joining fan favourites such as Mario and Link.
The initial line-up, which will be released at the end of this year, will each retail for $12.99 in the US (a European price has yet to be confirmed).
Nintendo revealed the toy line during its E3 digital event. Set for release this holiday, the home console version of Super Smash Bros for Wii U & 3DS will be the first game to support Amiibo.
For Super Smash Bros, players will be able to import characters and save their stats and fighting styles to their figures. Amiibo will also support the recently released Mario Kart 8, with more information promised at a later date.
Last week, Nintendo announced updated versions of 3DS hardware which will come with built-in NFC reading capabilities. Older models will be able to read the figures using a separate peripheral.
